Dinner theatre announces winter show

“Pump Boys and Dinettes” is the eighth show to be produced at St. Croix Valley’s only dinner theatre St. Croix Off Broadway Dinner Theatre.

The pump boys sell high octane on Highway 57 in Grand Ole Opry country and the dinettes, Prudie and Rhetta Cupp, run the Double Cupp diner next door.

Together they fashion an evening of country rock western songs that received unanimous raves on and off Broadway. They perform on guitars, piano, bass and, yes, kitchen utensils.

Dinner is served any time between 6-7 p.m. at the Best Western Hudson House Inn, exit 2 on Highway 94 in Hudson. The show begins at 8 p.m. Price is $46.65 for dinner with a non-alcoholic beverage, the show, tax and tip.

Performances run Feb. 1 through May 17. Orders can be made by calling 386-2394 ext. 333 or ordering online or via mail on the dinner theatre’s Web site, www.stcroixoffbroadway.com.

Gift certificates are also available year round, as well as a 10 percent discount for groups of 15 or more.
