Sealed bids for the construction of UV Disinfection System and Building, for the Village of Somerset in one contract, as follows:

General construction of wastewater treatment ultraviolet building and equipment, including concrete work, site work, structural, architectural, process piping, equipment, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical.

will be received by the Village Clerk, Village of Somerset, at the Village Hall, 110 Spring Street, PO Box 356, Somerset, WI 54025, by 4:00 p.m., local time, March 11th, 2008, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

The proposals shall be submitted on the forms furnished with the specifications. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check payable to the owner equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal or a bid bond of a bonding company duly authorized to do business in the State of Wisconsin in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal. This proposal guarantee shall be subject to forfeiture as provided by law.

Proposals shall not be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the date of opening. The Village of Somerset reserves the right to reject any or all of the proposals and to waive any informalities therein.
