Dance team competes at nationals
The St. Croix Central High School Dance Team competed at the National Competition Feb. 22-24 at the Minneapolis Convention Center in the Twin Cities.
The St. Croix Central High School Dance Team competed at the National Competition Feb. 22-24 at the Minneapolis Convention Center in the Twin Cities.
Overall, the team took home a fifth place in the pom routine and finished in third place for their jazz routine.
First year Dance Team coach Brooke Gusa was pleased with the team’s performance, showcasing the hard work that brought them to the national competition.
“This is definitely a personal best,” Gusa said. “That was the best I’ve seen them perform all year long.”
“It was a good ending to the season,” Gusa said.
