Chili Feed set in Star Prairie

Last month’s Star Prairie Lions Club chili feed was a bust, thanks to poor weather conditions.

The organization is trying again this Sunday, May 18, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Star Prairie Ball Park.

Dubbed the first annual Chili Feed, the festivities kick off at 11 a.m. with a consignment auction by Alfred Larson.

Bingo will follow at 4 p.m., along with a street dance featuring Prairie Dawg Productions.

Throughout the day, hot chili, cold beer and pop will be served.

Plans for the upcoming Ox Cart Days in Star Prairie are moving ahead.

Sponsorship letters have been sent to area businesses, but some were returned due to address issues.

Any business that did not receive a letter can download the sponsor information on www.oxcartdays.com.

Ox Cart Days is Aug. 15-17.
