Letter: Benefit appreciated by accident victim

To the Editor:

I am writing this letter to thank everyone who held, helped and donated to the Steve Mireau Benefit on March 8.

My family and I would like to start by thanking those who put the whole thing together. We can’t thank you enough for all your time and energy!

I also really would like to say thank you to the owner and staff at Fatt Matt’s Bar & Grill for adjusting their schedule to make this benefit happen. They did an excellent job with the food, drinks and facility to make things go smoothly.

We also would like to thank the New Richmond News for placing the story that informed the community.

We would like to thank the “Twisted River Band” for bringing all their personal sound equipment, which was shared by all three bands that night. This was great because there was no down time between bands.

Thank you “Mark Stary & The Whiskey Roses” for kicking off the night right with some killer tunes.

We also would like to thank the “Small Town Heroes” for rocking the house.

These three bands donated more than just a good time and we thank you all for that.

The benefit would not have been a success without all the family and friends that took the time to come out to support my family and me. This will not be forgotten, so thank you everyone -- you’re friends forever.

P.S. The benefit raised enough money to purchase the FES bike, and even help pay for one of my hand devices. (BIO-NESS) This is a step in the right direction so thank you all.
