Letter: West fund-raiser a big success

To the Editor:

The West Elementary Parents Association held a fiesta fund-raiser art ahow, taco dinner and bake sale on May 2.

More than $1,700 was raised. The money raised will be put toward an art-related assembly that will benefit students at each of New Richmond’s elementary schools next year.

WEPA would like to thank everyone who helped to make this evening such a great success.

A special thank you to:

• Garabaldi’s Mexican Restaurant for their donation of chips & salsa.

• Heather Boe -- parent coordinator.

• Karen Brummer -- Nutrition specialist.

• Kath -- for your help in the kitchen.

• WEPA volunteers and New Richmond Middle School.
