The New Richmond Heritage Center will present Antique “Show & Tell” on Sunday, June 8, from 1-4 p.m. in the Pavilion.
Coming once again to the Heritage Center is the annual program, based on the popular hit PBS program, “Antiques Road Show.”
This ninth year event is educational and exciting. For the past eight years this program has been very well received because it is simply fun for the people who bring in their items for estimate and appraisal, as well as those who just want to watch the action.
Participants will bring in no more than two collectable or antique items for appraisal by our show dealers. Mark Cellotti, of Deer Park, heads the panel of experts.
With well more than 100 years of experience their wide and varied backgrounds allow expert opinion on nearly any subject. If you have a mystery item (there have been several at each of the past shows) the dealers would love to assist in your discovery of its use and origin.
There is no charge for this event. Registration is open to all. Everyone is welcome to participate or just watch and enjoy the program. The more interesting items that come up for appraisal are shared with the audience so look for a good seat! Appraisals are on a first come first served basis.
