Five candidates will compete for this year’s Miss Star Prairie honors at the Ox Cart Days pageant Sunday at 4 p.m.
Five candidates will compete for this year’s Miss Star Prairie honors at the Ox Cart Days pageant Sunday at 4 p.m.
The Miss Star Prairie candidates are listed below, along with some of their biographical information.
Erin Aherns, sponsored by Kirk’s Collision, is the daughter of Richard Aherns. The New Richmond High School student has two brothers, Shawn and Brian, and three sisters, Heidi, Amanda and Kelly.
Aherns isn’t sure what her future plans are, but she’s very involved in several activities including academic merits, yearbook, marching band and youth group.
Her hobbies and talents include photography, sewing, reading and twirling rifles
Future plans: Attend college

Kayla Grahovac, sponsored by Cedar Creek Inn, is the daughter of Jeff and Ann Grahovac. The Somerset High School student has three brothers, Mitch, Connor and Jared, and one sister, Brianna.
Career Ambition: Marine biologist

Diana Kleine, sponsored by Main Street Pizza, is the daughter of Mark and Kim Kleine. The New Richmond High School student has one sister, Anna.
Career Ambition: Nurse
College Choice: University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire

Heather Kralewski, sponsored by Friendly Bar & Grill, is the daughter of Troy Kralewski and Missy Careful. The Somerset High School student has two sisters, Miranda (13) and Paityan (10).
Career Ambition: Lawyer or probation officer
College Choice: Unsure

Hobbies/Sports/Talents: Singing and swimming.
Future Plans: Possibly join the Peace Corps but definitely get my life established, then hopefully get married and have kids.

Morgan Olson, sponsored by Apple River Inn, is the daughter of Kathy Habisch and Mike Olson. The Osceola High School student has two brothers, Jeff and Brian.
Career Ambition: OB nurse or first responder

Future Plans: Become married, have only two children, and hopefully succeed with my dream job.
