Hunter Education to be offered Sept. 11 in New Richmond

A Wisconsin Hunter Education Class for the New Richmond area will be held at the New Richmond National Guard Armory, 1245 Wall Street. This class is required for anyone born after Jan. 1, 1973 who wishes to purchase a Wisconsin hunting license.

The course starts Thursday, Sept. 11, at 7 p.m. class is held Monday and Thursday nights from 7-9 p.m. Ends Oct. 20. One Saturday class on Oct. 11 from 8 a.m.-noon at the Willow River Rod and Gun Club. Cost is $10. Anyone with questions can contact Ron Roettger at 715-248-3883.

Must be 12 years of age before Dec. 31, 2008. No advance pre-registration is necessary. Students will be taken on a first come basis. Only taking 60 students.
