Letter: Sponsors help make calendar a success

To the Editor:
As director of the New Richmond Middle School Marching Band, I would like to thank all of the advertisers and parents for their support of the Band’s community birthday and event calendar. It was a tremendous success as a fund-raiser for the Middle School Band’s nine-day trip to Florida last May/June and we hope you all hang it up and use it.
I, as director, did make a HUGE mistake. I inadvertently omitted the sponsors of the color picture on the calendar. This year’s sponsors were the 1st National Community Bank, 1st National Bank-River Falls and Westconsin Credit Union.
Because of these financial institutions, we were able to put that fabulous Disney picture on the calendar. The community is so fortunate to have these institutions supporting the youth of New Richmond.
