Arlo Kunze, 72

Arlo W. Kunze died peacefully on Oct. 9, 2008 at his home.

He was born to Charles Kunze and Viola Peters on April 28, 1936.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Viola Kunze; an infant daughter, Debra; wife, Theresa (nee Schwan); brothers Arnold and Arlyn.

Arlo is survived by his children, Bryan (Erica), Brent, Bruce, Brenda (Kevin) Hargrave, Bradley (Joan Kohls), Barb (David) Nelson, Barry (Debbie), Burdette Shilts; grandchildren, Christopher and Tiffany Kunze, Tamara, Cynthia and Elizabeth Koehler, Susan, Stacey, Stephanie, Shannon, Steven and Ashley Kunze, Justin, Jeremy and Megan Nelon, Kristen and Matthew Kunze, Kyle and Ali Shilts; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Arlene DeWitt, Arloa (Ambrose) Potting, Art (Rosemary), Arnell (Linda), Ardell (David) Naser.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with visitation at 9 a.m. until the time of service. Father James Brinkman officiated with music by organist Barb Peterson and soloist Anne Anez. Interment was at St. Bridget’s Cemetery, Stanton. Pallbearers were Randy Potting, Greg Potting, Troy Kunze, Scott Schwan, Dan Schwan and Tim Kunze.

Cullen Crea Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
