LETTER: Murtha has been hard at work

To the Editor:

Over the last two years, State Representative John Murtha has worked hard to represent our values in the Wisconsin State Assembly and he deserves to be re-elected.

John has protected local property taxpayers by voting for caps on spending to keep area property taxes from increasing, by stopping new payroll tax, fighting against a gas tax increase and defeating an increase on a tax that is assessed every time a home is sold.

I appreciate John’s honesty and the fact that he looks out for us - the taxpayers of Western Wisconsin.

That is why I am supporting John and plan on voting for him on Nov. 4. He has earned my vote.
