Notice is hereby given that a public hearing on the proposed budget of the Town of Erin Prairie will be held at the Erin Prairie Town Hall on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. The following is a summary of the proposed 2009 budget:

Notice is hereby given that immediately following the Public Hearing on November 12, 2008 a Special Town Meeting called pursuant to Section 60.12(1)(c) of Wisconsin Statutes will be held for the following purposes:
1. To approve the total highway expenses pursuant to Sec. 81.01(3) of the Wisconsin Statutes.
2. To adopt the Town Tax levy of $159,000 to be paid pursuant to Sec. 60.10(1)(a) of the Wisconsin Statutes.
The complete budget may be viewed at the clerk’s home by appointment.
The regular monthly board meeting will immediately follow the Special Town Meeting. The agenda includes the following: roads, bills, Town Plan Commission update.
