SCC Middle School honors veterans
St. Croix Central Middle School celebrated Veterans Day early on Nov. 7. During the hour long program, customs like Taps and poppies were explained, and veterans introduced themselves to the students. Guest speaker Captain Andrew Johansen addressed the crowd, and told them the best thing to do for a veteran is to say "thank you."By: Laura Kruse, Staff Writer, New Richmond News

Additionally, veterans introduced themselves to the students. Guest speaker Captain Andrew Johansen addressed the crowd, and told them the best thing to do for a veteran is to say "thank you."
Veterans were given poppies by the Girl Scouts. Students were handed flags as they left the Multipurpose Room.
