Members of the New Richmond VFW Post 10818 (from left) John Heintz, Robert Aufderhar and David Scharretts demonstrate the proper way to fold the American flag. The New Richmond Middle School played host to a community-wide Veterans Day ceremony Monday. A large crowd of veterans attended the event, including members of the local VFW and American Legion posts. The Middle School choir, orchestra and band also took part in the ceremony. Mayor David Schnitzler was the featured speaker for the morning.
