On Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008, Kyle Roland Forsythe passed away at Luther Middleford Hospital in Eau Claire, Wis.

Kyle was born to Jeff and Joan Forsythe on June 26, 1987 in Hudson, Wis. Kyle was baptized on Sept. 20, 1987 and confirmed on May 18, 2003 at the United Church of Christ in Roberts, Wis. He attended School at St. Croix Central and graduated in 2006. Kyle was a third year student at Stout University in Menomonie, Wis.

Through high school Kyle worked at Good Go-ing Kennels for Jason and Melissa Gooding, which inspired his love for the outdoors and influenced his decision to study business. He spent the last three summers working with Jeff at Freeman Company.

Over the past couple of years he had made many new friends at college and shared so many good times. These friends enjoyed his cooking skills, sense of humor, knack for nicknames, and his famous love taps. His friends shared his love for classic rock music and he was always the D.J. at the jukebox.

Kyle shared a great love for hunting and fishing with his dad. A hug and a hot meal from mom was always waiting for Kyle when he would arrive home from college. His family treasures the memories they enjoyed on all of their vacations, especially traveling out west and fishing in Florida. He also enjoyed the trips when Grandpa Kenny and Grandma Mary were with them at the Milwaukee Brewer games, and spending summers at their cabin in Lake Holcombe.

Kyle enjoyed teasing his sisters, having a nickname for each. As a brother Kyle always knew what to say to make his sisters smile and laugh. He brightened each and every day for Katelyn and Kelley. He loved being a big brother and his sisters will cherish their relationship with him always and forever.

He had a wonderful sense of humor. His laughter and silly gestures made us all smile. As a son, brother and friend, Kyle added so much joy, affection and companionship through his unique ability to bring the love of laughter into any room.

Kyle was preceded in death by grandparents Roland and Donna Forsythe and godfather uncle Leslie Dull.

He is survived by his parents Jeff and Joan; sisters Katelyn and Kelley; grandparents Mary and Kenny Fern; aunts and uncles Connie and Gary Johnston, Shelley Dull, Christie and Rick Risberg, from Roberts, Wis., Greg and Donna Fern, Hudson, Wis., Gary and Brenda Fern, New Richmond, Wis., Mike and Jody Fern, Hammond, Julie and Joe Bolder, Amery, Wis.; and many cousins and great friends.

Kyle has left us, but leaves behind the gift of life as an organ donor. He will live through and touch the lives of so many. Kyle will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by everyone with so many wonderful memories and good times.

A Celebration Of Life for Kyle Forsythe was Friday, Nov. 7, at 3 p.m. at the Roberts United Church of Christ. Burial was in the Hammond Cemetery. Active casketbearers were Tyler Hawkins, Brandon Dull, Chris Dull, Jeff Fern, Jared Fern and Travis Johnston. Honorary casketbearers Brady Johnston, Richard Thiele, Jared Herman, Sam Flood, Alex Helgeson, Chad Schommer, Jake Ernst, Josh Preston, Pete Magnan, Ben Perry, Andrew Sarnstrom, Harold Olson, Dylan Deringer, Devon Rasmussen, Scott Kemper, Kade Hilden, Phil Heimel, Jesse Johnson and Adam Brown. Friends gathered to reflect on Kyle’s life Thursday from 3 until 8 p.m. at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Baldwin.

Your thoughts and prayers have blessed the Forsythes; memorials are preferred and will be used to further his sisters’ college education.
