Jane Bottolfson, 66

Jane Bottolfson, age 66, of Star Prairie, died on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008 at Westfield’s Hospital in New Richmond.

Jane was born the daughter of Roda and Gladys (Peterson) Jensen on June 24, 1942 in Star Prairie. She attended grade school in Star Prairie and high school in New Richmond.

On Jan. 20, 1962, Jane was married to Roger “Tobe” Bottolfson at Bethany Lutheran Church in Star Prairie. Jane’s grandchildren were her passion, and she never missed one of their events.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roda and Gladys Jensen and her husband, Roger “Tobe” Bottolfson.

She is survived by her children, Jeff Bottolfson and wife, Colleen of Star Prairie and Sally Martinson and husband, Chris also of Star Prairie; grandchildren, Jason and Josh Bottolfson and Alyssa and Kristy Martinson; sister, Sandra Schwan and husband, Gerald of Star Prairie; brothers-in-law, Sam Bottolfson and wife, Char of Osceola, Clarence Moen of St. Paul, Minn. and Keith Boardman of New Richmond; sister-in-law, Helen Howe of St. Paul, Minn. and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church in Star Prairie. Visitation was held on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008 from 4-7 p.m. at the Beebe Mortuary in New Richmond and on Sunday from 1-2 p.m. at the church. Interment was in the Oakland Cemetery in Star Prairie. Pallbearers were Kathy Leisch, Colleen Frank, Dan Schwan, Ann Roettger, Sharon Olson and Margie Siedow.

Arrangements were with the Beebe Mortuary of New Richmond.
