St. Croix Off Broadway Dinner Theatre is offering a way for you to feel good about giving and also have a great time while doing it.
If you see a show at the dinner theatre any Thursday in December and bring a nonperishable food or household item for the local food shelves, you will get $3 off your ticket/item. “Food Shelf Thursdays” run Thursdays, Dec. 4, 11, 18. Mention that you plan on participating when making your reservation at 715-386-2394, ext. 333.
Now showing is the world premiere of the country musical “Inn Between the Holidays.” It is the week between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve at the Inn Between, a little roadhouse bar, inn and truck stop on the highway. It’s also a long way between “good” and “famous” for the local band that plays there. It’s an even longer way between poverty and prosperity for Jake and Jan, owners of the truck stop slammed by high fuel prices and stressed out truckers, and it seems to be the longest road of all between fun and forever for Josh and Alexis. But when you’re in Between be careful what you wish for as you may just get it, especially at Christmas.
