Dorothy M. Heisler, 63

Dorothy M. Heisler, 63, of Eau Claire, died Friday, Dec. 5, 2008 as a result of an automobile accident.

She was born in Amery, Wis. on Feb. 16, 1945, a daughter of Archie and Bernice (Thompson) Conrad.

She graduated from New Richmond High School, with the class of 1964.

Dorothy married Clarence M. Heisler on March 17, 1981 in Eau Claire.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Clarence; two sons Russell and Eric Heisler, both of Eau Claire; sister, Evie (Cliff) Hill of Oregon City, Ore.; and brother Vernon Conrad of New Richmond.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Donald Conrad; and her grandson, Yuepheng Heisler.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Eau Claire with Father William A. Dhein officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Eau Claire. Visitation was from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Lenmark Gromsrud Linn Funeral Home, Eau Claire, and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church. There was a 6:30 p.m. public prayer service Tuesday at the funeral home.
