David G. Trautmiller, age 53, of New Richmond, Wis., died peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009 at his home.
David G. Trautmiller, age 53, of New Richmond, Wis., died peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009 at his home.
He was born on May 28, 1955 in New Richmond.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Vivian (Wilson) Trautmiller; sisters Sandy Trautmiller and JoAnn Denno; and nephews Jon Moe and John Trautmiller.
He is survived by his special friend Merry Gullickson; stepchildren, Dan (Tina) Boock, Michele (John) Mattila, Sarah Boock; siblings, Fred (Marilyn) Trautmiller, Mary “Teri” (Art) Garcia, Susan (Jerry) Stordahl, John Trautmiller; four step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
David was an avid photographer and reader. He was a diehard Packer fan and loved dirt track racing. He was a writer for several racing magazines, was a Navy veteran and worked at Andersen Windows for many years.
Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Father James Brinkman, is at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, New Richmond.
Music provided by soloist Anne Anez and organist Ron Boldt. Pallbearers are Mike Nutzman, Murray Johnson, Tim VanMeter, Rick Hagen, John Hancock, Tom Fleming, Matt Trautmiller and Wade Erickson. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Cullen Crea Funeral Home, New Richmond, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation also one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment St. Bridget’s Cemetery, Stanton, Wis.
