AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF NEW RICHMOND, WISCONSIN.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW RICHMOND DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Territory Annexed. The following described territory presently located in the Town of Richmond is hereby annexed to the City of New Richmond.
Territory described as follows: Part of the West one-half of the NW 1/4 of the Fractional NE 1/4 (NW 1/4 - NE 1/4) of Section 4, T30N, R18W, Town of Richmond, St. Croix County, Wisconsin more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the North Quarter Corner of said Section 4, this also being the POINT OF BEGINNING of the parcel to be described; Thence, North 89 degrees 30 minutes 15 seconds East on the North line of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of said Section 4, a distance of 663.07 feet to a point on the East line of the West one-half of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (NW 1/4 -NE 1/4) of said Section 4; Thence, South 00 degrees 44 minutes 48 seconds East on said East line1366.00 feet to a point on the South line of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (NW 1/4 - NE 1/4); Thence, South 89 degrees 46 minutes 55 seconds West on said South line 661.06 feet; Thence, North 00 degrees 49 minutes 59 seconds West 4.32 feet; Thence, North 89 degrees 30 minutes 39 seconds East 213.00 feet; Thence, North 00 degrees 49 minutes 59 seconds West 340.30 feet; Thence, South 46 degrees 53 minutes 00 seconds West 287.90 feet; Thence, North 00 degrees 49 minutes 59 seconds West 63.95 feet; Thence, North 89 degrees 19 minutes 47 seconds East, 39.77 feet to a point on the easterly right-of-way line of CTH “K”; Thence, North 00 degrees 40 minutes 13 seconds West on said easterly right-of-way line, 390.98 feet to a point of tangential curvature; Thence, on an arc of a curve concave to the west 269.20 feet having a Central Angle of 17 degrees 51 minutes 42 seconds, Radius 863.51 feet, Chord Bearing North 09 degrees 36 minutes 04 seconds West, Chord Length 268.11 feet to a point of non-tangency; Thence, North 00 degrees 49 minutes 59 seconds West 493.37 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and there terminating. The above described parcel contains 828,522 Square Feet (19.02 Acres) including road right-of-way and 782,596 Square Feet (17.97 Acres) not including the road right-of-way. The above described parcel maybe subject to other easements, restrictions and covenants. (Property owned by First Lutheran Church)
Section 2. Effect of Annexation. From and after the date of this ordinance the territory described in Section 1 shall be a part of the City of New Richmond, for any and all purposes provided by law and all persons coming or residing within such territory shall be subject to all ordinances, rules and regulations governing the City of New Richmond.
Section 3. Temporary Zoning Classification. (a) Upon recommendation to the City Council of the City of New Richmond the territory described above, annexed to the City of New Richmond by this ordinance is designated as R-2 Single Family Residential - Small
Section 4. Ward Designation. The territory described in Section 1 of this ordinance is hereby designated as part of Ward 3, Aldermanic District 2, of the City of New Richmond.
Section 5. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance is invalid or unconstitutional, or if the application of this ordinance to any person or circumstances is invalid or unconstitutional, such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the other provisions or applications of this ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid or unconstitutional provision or application.
Section 6. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect upon passage and publication as provided by law.
