Please take notice that the Village Board of the Village of Somerset will hold a public hearing on February 16, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Village Hall, 110 Spring St., Somerset, WI to take public comment on the consideration of revisions to the Floodplain Zoning Ordinance under Title 13, Chapter 2 of the Municipal Code of the Village of Somerset, which includes adoption of new Flood Insurance Rate Maps as required under the regulations of Chapter NR 116, Wisconsin Administrative Code and the regulatory standards of the National Flood Insurance Program.

Persons wishing to appear at the hearing may do so in person or by legal representative. Written statements may also be filed with the Village Clerk, Village of Somerset, 110 Spring St., Somerset, WI 54025 until 4:30 p.m. on February 17, 2009. A copy of the proposed revisions to the Floodplain Ordinance will be on file and available for inspection at the office of the Village Clerk for a period of two weeks prior to the date of the public hearing.
