THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF SOMERSET, WISCONSIN DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

TITLE 9 CHAPTER 2 SECTION 11 SEWER UTILITY CHARGES

(a) Sewer Rates.

(1) Minimum Meter Charge Rate. Minimum charge based on the size of water meter in service will be per the following schedule:

5/8” Meters $25.25

3/4” Meters $25.25

1” Meters $64.25

1 1/4” Meters $76.87

1 1/2” Meters $102.11

2” Meters $153.75

3” Meters $257.00

4” Meters $410.75

(2) Volume Usage Rate. A fixed charge of Eight and 32/100 Dollars ($8.32) per one thousand (1,000) gallons per quarter on the amount of water consumed as defined in Section (5)(c).

(b) Sewer Charges. All charges for sewerage service shall be made quarterly and shall be payable in January, April, July and October of each year. A three percent (3%) penalty will be added to those bills not paid on or before the twentieth (20th) day after the issuance date of the bill with a fifty cent ($0.50) minimum penalty charge. A failure to receive a bill shall not excuse nonpayment. Delinquent sewerage service charges shall be a lien on the property served pursuant to Sec. 66.0809(3), Wis. Stats.
