New Richmond’s own Willow River Players will be holding auditions Feb. 15 and 16 for the spring production of “American Idle -- Murdering the Music.”
The cast is comprised of seven men and 11 women between the ages of 16 and 65. Although it seems like it might be, this is not a musical. Each of the characters has certain special quirks so the director will be looking for personality above all.
Auditions will be Sunday, Feb. 15, at 1 p.m. and Monday, Feb. 16, at 6 p.m. at Ready Randy’s Sports Bar.
The Willow River Players will be performing “American Idle” as a dinner theatre. The performance dates will be April 30, May 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, and a special Mother’s Day show May 10.
Willow River Players is always looking for help behind the scenes too. If you would like to volunteer, call 715-246-1028 or visit their Web site at www.willowriverplayers.org.
If you have any questions about auditions, contact Carla Kelley at 715-246-6690 or 715-269-5499.
