A group of local residents would like to invite the public to join in a community discussion around how New Richmond may be able to improve community service opportunities.
There will be two “brainstorming sessions” on Tuesday, Feb. 10, at the New Richmond United Methodist Church. There will be a session at noon and another at 6:30 p.m.
A simple meal of soup and bread will be provided. Organizers would appreciate an RSVP so they have an idea of how much food to prepare. RSVP to wintrack@mm.com or leave a message at 715-246-6527.
Ideas generated at the sessions will be shared and follow up discussion encouraged at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/nrwiacs
The purpose of the brainstorming sessions will be to:
1. Build a comprehensive list of all the opportunities to serve that are currently being done in the community.
2. Identify needs that are currently not being met.
3. Identify strategies for building community awareness and strengthening community involvement.
