Conference wrestling meets set for Saturday
The Middle Border Conference Wrestling Meet and the Big Rivers and Dunn-St. Croix combined conference tournament are both being held this Saturday.
The Middle Border Conference Wrestling Meet and the Big Rivers and Dunn-St. Croix combined conference tournament are both being held this Saturday.
The 2009 Middle Border Conference Wrestling Meet will be held at Amery High School. Weigh-ins begin at 8 a.m., with doors opening for the public at 8:30 a.m. The first session of wrestling is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. All eight Middle Border Conference schools will have teams in the tournament.
The Big Rivers/Dunn-St. Croix Wrestling Classic will be held at Menomonie Middle School. Wrestling in the tournament is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
Schools from the Dunn-St. Croix Conference with teams in the tournament include Boyceville, Glenwood City, Mondovi, Spring Valley/Elmwood and St. Croix Central. Teams from Big Rivers Conference with teams in the tournament are Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire Memorial, Eau Claire North, Hudson, Menomonie, Rice Lake and River Falls.
