“Being Alive” will present the St. Croix Valley Women’s Conference on Saturday, Feb. 28, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the St. Croix National Event Center, 1603 32nd St., Somerset.
Cost is $40, including lunch.
The St. Croix Valley Women’s Conference will enable women to idle their motor when they feel like stripping their gears. They will learn:
• How to identify acute and chronic stressors and get tips for creating change.
• Look at who are the toxic and supportive people in their life.
• How to create balance with “have to’s” and “want to’s.”
• The importance of play and humor for adults.
• Examine personal values and create a plan to achieve them.
Sue Baldwin will be the keynote speaker for the conference. Baldwin lives in Stillwater and owns Insights Training and Consulting. She is a nationally recognized author and motivational presenter.
As a 12 year-cancer survivor, Baldwin has learned how to create balance in her diversified life and embraces the experience that the ageing process brings with it. “Play Now -- Act Old Later!” is her motto.
