The first ever St. Croix Central Empty Bowls event was held on Tuesday night.
Attendees were able to purchase bowls made by grades 4-12 for $5, or put bids on celebrity bowls in the silent auction. District Administrator David Bradley wowed the crowd with his auctioneering skills and drove up the price of one celebrity bowl.
Soup and chili was served for a free will donation. The SCC FFA made and donated the chili.
All proceeds will go to the Roberts Food Pantry.
