Carole M. Kruizenga, 74

Carole M. Kruizenga, 74, of Star Prairie, Wis. and Polk City, Fla. died March 1, 2009 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Auburndale, Fla. of cancer.

She was born in Sioux County, Iowa on Nov. 25, 1934 to Nellie and Wm. Vander Wilt. On Feb. 12, 1954 she married Melvin Kruizenga and together they raised seven children. She was a loving wife and mother.

Carole is survived by her husband Melvin, daughter Malva (Tom) Sirek, New Richmond, Wis.; sons Kevin (Cheryl) Kruizenga of Cumberland, Wis.; Keith (Linda) Kruizenga of Star Prairie; Kurt Kruizenga of Crosby, Minn.; Wayne (Julie) Kruizenga of Viroqua, Wis.; Kraig (Jolene) Kruizenga of Champlin, Minn.; Ken Kruizenga of Star Prairie, Wis.; sisters Adrianna Peacock; Arnetta Vander Wilt; sisters-in-laws Magdalena (Leonard) Hahn, Marie Kruizenga, Leona Kruizenga, Bertha Kruizenga; 17 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church in New Richmond on Friday, March 6, 2009. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on March 7, 2009 at First Baptist Church in New Richmond. Interment will be in the Wagon Landing Cemetery, Alden Township, Wis.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to Good Shepherd Hospice House, 105 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, Fla. or First Baptist Church, 341 N. Shore Drive, New Richmond, Wis.
