special board proceedings
March 26, 2009
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof posted 3/25/2009 the Star Prairie Village Board met in special session on 3/26/2009 at 7:55 p.m. in the Community Center. The meeting was called to order by President Gibson. Roll call. Members Present: Trustees Mick Maxon, Bruce A. Johnson, Rob Berger, Andrew Marrier and President Greg Gibson. Trustee Johnson moved to approve the agenda as presented seconded by Trustee Maxon. Motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS
Proposal for John Deere Tractor
Trustee Berger moved to approve the purchase of a John Deere 3520 tractor from Polfus Implement, Inc. for $10,959.57 after trade in with funding from capital outlay seconded by Trustee Maxon. Roll call vote, all members voted yes. Motion carried.

Closed Session
Trustee Johnson moved to go into closed session pursuant to Wis. Statutes §19.85(1)(c) consideration of employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility — part-time maintenance help seconded by Trustee Berger. Roll call vote, all members voted yes. Motion carried.
Open Session
Trustee Maxon moved to go into open session seconded by Trustee Berger. Roll call vote, all members voted yes. Motion carried.
Trustee Johnson moved to hire part-time maintenance help at a salary of $10.00 (dollars) per hour for a maximum of 20 hours per week seconded by Trustee Marrier. Roll call vote, all members voted yes. Motion carried.
Adjournment
Trustee Johnson moved to adjourn the special meeting seconded by Trustee Maxon. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
