According to a press release promoting the Judge Joe Brown show, "a longtime friendship is not enough to pay the bills in New Richmond when one sneaks into the other’s rental property and will not leave."
David Dalton, 46, Hammond, is suing his former friend and tenant, Roberta Schlussler, 43, for $4,666.
This is the amount Dalton says the defendant allegedly owes him for five months of back rent and utilities. Schlussler says after suffering a financial hardship, she allegedly sent three real estate house sales over to the plaintiff to call it even.
"Judge Joe Brown" airs on Twin Cities station KMSP (Fox) Channel 9 at 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. This episode will air at 3:30 p.m.
Judge Joe Brown is the top-rated half-hour, syndicated, reality courtroom series entered its 11th season in 2008.
Litigants air their cases on the syndicated show and then the judge issues a judgment.
