People who log on to www.newrichmond-news.com today will notice a brand new look to our Web site.
Our new design is the product of substantial effort, and we hope folks who get some of their news in this format will appreciate what we see as a significant upgrade.
The New Richmond News site, which is scheduled to be launched sometime between 8:30 and 10 a.m. this morning, includes a wider format, an improved site search, additional homepage headlines and more daily updates. More content, more features, more tags and more depth — that’s what the new and improved www.newrichmond-news.com is essentially about.
For those who may be unfamiliar with tags, they (also known as keywords) will help readers locate the content of interest — whether it be stories or advertising. Each story will feature its story tags at the bottom of the content to help readers identify searchable terms.
When the new site is launched, users will need to log in again. Those users who remember their logon and password can simply use them to log on.
If users have forgotten their passwords, they can visit www.newrichmond-news.com, click “Login,” enter an e-mail address in the “lost your password” area and then click on “reset my password.” The site will then send a temporary password to the e-mail address listed. That password can be used to log onto the site. The password will then need to be updated.
The New Richmond News would like to hear from readers concerning the Web site redesign. Call us at 246-6881 or email jholmquist@rivertowns.net.
