About 20,000 tickets have been sold for the Camp Randall Hockey Classic – a Badger men’s and women’s double-header to be played outdoors next Feb. 6.

Wednesday, Culver’s Restaurants said it would be a corporate sponsor of the event.

Craig Culver said he’d love it if 80,000 people are there.

The Badgers want to set a world record attendance for an outdoor hockey game. That’s now 74,544, set by Michigan State in October 2001 when the Spartans tied Michigan 3-3.

The Wisconsin men will play Michigan at Camp Randall, and the women will face Bemidji State.
