NR emergency crews assist trapped woman
The New Richmond Fire Department and the New Richmond Ambulance and Rescue Service were called out for a rescue at around 3:15 p.m. Friday.

The woman, who had fallen down a steep embankment, had help from firefighters on Friday afternoon.
The New Richmond Fire Department and the New Richmond Ambulance and Rescue Service were called out for a rescue at around 3:15 p.m. Friday.
An unidentified woman fell down a steep embankment near the dam in downtown New Richmond and couldn't climb back up.
Several employees from a nearby office building tried to assist the woman but were unsuccessful. It only took firefighters a couple minutes to help the woman up to the street.
