Brewers finish home schedule one game below .500, losing to Phillies

The Milwaukee Brewers finished their home schedule at one game below .500, after losing 6-5 to Philadelphia Sunday.

The Phillies were up 6-1 when the Brewers rallied for four runs in the sixth inning, highlighted by a three-run homer from Mat Gamel.

In the ninth, Milwaukee had the tying run on third when Mike Cameron looked at a called strike-three to end the game.

Cameron hit a solo shot and Ryan Braun went 3-5, as the Brewers split their four-game series and prevented Philadelphia from clinching the National League East.

Jimmy Rollins went 3-5 with a homer, and Shane Victorino doubled and drove in a pair, as the Phillies cut their magic number to three for clinching the division.

Joe Blanton got the win, despite giving up five runs in five-and-two-thirds innings. He's now 12-7.

Ryan Madson earned his ninth save. Dave Bush took the loss, giving up five runs on nine hits in four-and-a-third innings. He's now 5-9.

The Brewers dropped to 77-79, and will need to win five of their last six to have a winning record for the third straight year.

Milwaukee is off today, and will play at Wild Card-leader Colorado Tuesday.
