A dispute between two local people will be featured on today's (Monday, April 19) episode of "Judge Joe Brown" on KMSP (FOX) Channel 9.
According to a press release issued by the reality television program, a New Richmond mom found out her son had hidden his traffic tickets from her, so she sold “his” car to her cousin. The sale turned out to be another mistake, show officials claim.
Lisa Stambaugh, 37, is suing her cousin, Tim Constant, 41, Amery, for $600.
Stambaugh claimed she sold the defendant a car but he allegedly didn’t pay as was agreed to in their written contract.
Constant claims the plaintiff pushed him into buying the car and it was broken from the start. The defendant adds with losing his job, fighting custody of his kids and totaling the car when he hit a deer, the plaintiff has no right to sue, especially since she told him to pay when he could.
"Judge Joe Brown" airs on Channel 9 at 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. This episode will air at 3 p.m.
"Judge Joe Brown," a reality courtroom series, entered its 12th season on Sept. 14.
