Douglas and Constance Plourde, Somerset, announce the engagement of their daughter, Vanessa, to Nauman Zahid.
Vanessa is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas. After graduation, she followed her dreams of traveling and modeling.
Nauman is a graduate of Birmingham University in England. They met in Los Angeles where he worked as a project manager.
Recently, the couple moved to Minneapolis to be closer to her family. A January wedding is being planned.
