Glenwood City man shot in hunting accident
Authorities from the Wisconsin DNR responded to a report 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, of a man being shot during a hunting party in the area of 300th Street and 130th Avenue in Glenwood City.

A group of coyote hunters were in the area when Adam Jeske, 27, Glenwood City, shot at one of the animals being chased by a dog. Andrew Jeske, 23, Glenwood City, was in the area and sustained a gunshot wound to the upper chest.
The hunting party brought Andrew out of the woods with a snowmobile and sled. Glenwood City EMS crews transported him to Baldwin Hospital, then Baldwin EMS transported him to Regional Hospital in St. Paul.
Andrew is listed in stable condition. The incident remains under investigation by the St. Croix County Sheriff’s office and the Wisconsin DNR.
