Tuesday fire destroys shed in Alden Township
The New Richmond Fire Department responded to a shed fire Tuesday night at about 8:20 p.m. in Alden Township.
The New Richmond Fire Department responded to a shed fire Tuesday night at about 8:20 p.m. in Alden Township.
The shed, located at 2107 10th Avenue, was a total loss, according to Fire Chief Jim VanderWyst. The property is owned by Dane Brown.
VanderWyst said the Osceola Fire Department assisted with the blaze by bring in several tankers full of water. The fire crews were on the scene for about an hour and a half.
No cause of the blaze has yet been determined. "We'll let the insurance companies figure that one out," VanderWyst said.
