Pedestrian struck and killed near Lake Elmo
A pedestrian was struck and killed Thursday night in the Lake Elmo- Grant border area in Washington County, Minn.
LAKE ELMO, MINN. -- A pedestrian was struck and killed Thursday night in the Lake Elmo- Grant border area in Washington County, Minn.
The car that struck the victim was driven by a 22-year-old woman from New Richmond. According to reports, the pedestrian was trying to cross the road and stepped into the vehicle's path on Hwy. 36.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the driver had not been drinking and was not injured.
The victim's name will be released later today.
