Art & Culinary Show a success
A large crowd was on hand for Sunday’s sixth annual Art & Culinary Show event at R&D Conference Center in rural New Richmond.
A large crowd was on hand for Sunday’s sixth annual Art & Culinary Show event at R&D Conference Center in rural New Richmond.
The fundraiser for the STRIVE Scholarship program is hosted by the Rotary Club of New Richmond.
The food just kept coming as local culinary artists prepared their food favorites. Artists demonstrated their skills at a variety of mediums. Samples of various spirits were served up as well.
Later in the night, several auctions for artwork were conducted.
Organizer Jo Wrich said the night went very well overall. More than $10,000 was raised to support the STRIVE Scholarship program at New Richmond High School. The program provides an incentive to seniors to boost their GPA in preparation for future schooling opportunities.
