Adeline Ruth Emerson, age 90, of New Richmond, Wis., died peacefully on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at Pillar’s Hospice in Oakdale, Minn.
Adeline Ruth Emerson, age 90, of New Richmond, Wis., died peacefully on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at Pillar’s Hospice in Oakdale, Minn.
She was born on Feb. 16, 1921, in Somerset, Wis., to André and Anna (Devine) Rivard. She worked for 25 years with Farwell Ozmun & Kirk, retiring in 1980.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy; sister Eileen Decosse.
Adeline is survived by her children, Roy Andy (Judy) Emerson, Linda Kay (Curtis) Gott; sisters Helen Johnson, Lilly Anne (Robert) Hartmon, Aryliss Plourde; grandchildren, Nancy Randall, Cindy Schneider, Mike Emerson, Carrie Gott, John Gott, and also nine great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Thursday, April 28, at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Somerset, Wis. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment St. Anne's Cemetery.
