Memorial Day services conducted by veterans, scouts
The New Richmond Veterans of Foreign Wars #10818 and the Post #80 of the American Legion, with the help of local Boy and Girl Scouts, conducted services on Memorial Day.

To kick things off, a ceremony was held at Immaculate Conception Church in New Richmond. Members of the Auxiliary laid a wreath at the flagpole in memory of fallen heros, with local Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts standing at attention in the background.

Team one took care of services at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery; St. Croix Health Center Cemetery; Oakland Cemetery; New Richmond Public Cemetery; Knowles Avenue Bridge (in honor of Navy, Coast Guard and Merchant Marines); Veterans Memorial, Victoria Park.
Team two attended services Cylon Methodist Cemetery; St. Bridget’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Stanton; and Calvary Cemetery-Deer Park.
At noon, a lunch was served at the American Legion Hall, 1260 Wall St., New Richmond.
