Charles E. Barbeau I, age 57, of New Richmond, and formerly of N. St. Paul, Minn., died on Saturday, June 18, 2011, at the Deerfield Gables in New Richmond.

Charles E. Barbeau I, age 57, of New Richmond, and formerly of N. St. Paul, Minn., died on Saturday, June 18, 2011, at the Deerfield Gables in New Richmond.

He was born the son of Norman and MaryAlice Barbeau on Aug. 9, 1953, in St. Paul. Chuck worked as a journeyman in the construction trades.

He is preceded in death by his brother Rocky Baribeau; and son Samuel Barbeau. Chuck is survived by his wife, Rebecca Barbeau; children Laura (Andrew Nyman) Ingram, Tammy Webb, Travis Bell, Chuck Barbeau II, Ben Barbeau; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Hannah, Gretchen; parents, Norman and MaryAlice Barbeau; siblings Suzette (Tom) Adams, Norman (Connie) Barbeau, Jr., Robin (Kim) Barbeau, Steven Barbeau, Victor (Lynda) Barbeau, Tony (Sharon) Barbeau; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Private services will be held.

Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services of New Richmond.
