Drive thru coffee shop attached to Ava's restaurant

Farmhouse Coffee and Creamery, within Ava’s restaurant, has been serving coffee, espresso, bakery goods and much more, to on-the-go customers since June 21.
Meghan Bacon, who opened Ava’s five years ago, said she saw the opportunity to bring convenience to her customers and there was space available in the kitchen to make coffee, smoothies, malts and shakes.
“So far people have enjoyed it, she said. “ We just have to get the word out.”
Although there are other drive thru coffee shops in town, barista Katie Deutsch said Farmhouse Coffee and Creamery is unique because it is attached to a restaurant and offers home-made donuts, cinnamon rolls, turnovers and other fresh baked goods.
Bacon said the coffee she serves is strong, especially the organic French roast. Customers can also order non-alcoholic specialty drinks.
Even though Bacon considers the coffee shop a separate entity, customers can order off the restaurant menu at the drive thru.
If you want to stop by Farmhouse Coffee and Creamery, a place Bacon said she wants to be fun, quick and light-hearted, the drive thru will be open daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and regular hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
