Robert A. Triebold, 81

Robert A. Triebold, age 81, of Emerald, Wis., died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011, at his home.

Bob was born Jan. 18, 1930, in Woodbury, Minn., to Edwin and Lillian (Koschiek) Triebold. At the age of 12, they moved to the Hudson area. He worked for the boatworks in Afton and later worked for Nor-Lake, Inc. in Hudson, Wis., while farming.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting and doing the yard work. Bob met Donna Brown at the age of 15 and they dated until they married June 21, 1950, in Hudson.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and sons, Robert and Bill.

Bob is survived by wife, Donna Triebold of Emerald; daughter, Cathy Bakkestuen; daughter-in-law, Amy Triebold; grandchildren: Jason Triebold; Jessica Wichelman and husband, Mike; Dustin Hill and wife, Nicole; Tammie Hudalla and husband, Jeremy; Courtney Holte and husband, Chris; Becky Hill; Kevin Green; Joseph Green; Stephen Green; and Sara Triebold Green; great-grandchildren, Eric Hoffman, Damon Triebold, Budrick Triebold, Blair Wichelman, Ben Wichelman, Bradley Wichelman, Royce Hudalla, Raini Hudalla, Rylah Hudalla, Rozin Hudalla, and Mason Holte; sister, Lorraine Affolter. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 6, at the United Methodist Church in Emerald. Burial was in the Warren Cemetery Twp., Warren, Wis.

Local arrangements by the Anderson Funeral Home in Glenwood City, Wis. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
