St. Croix County plat books now available

The St. Croix County Plat Book, sponsored by the St. Croix County 4-H Leaders’ Association, is now available.

Interested in finding out what fish are in Bass Lake? Looking for Namekagon Street in Hudson?

Want to drive through the Country Wood subdivision in the town of Troy but you’re not quite sure where it’s located? Who owns that property south of 222nd Avenue two miles east of Deer Park?

Where is the State of Wisconsin DNR or USA Fish and Wildlife property in St. Croix County?

A St. Croix County Plat Book can provide the answers to all those questions.

The 2011 St. Croix County Plat Book includes these features: A complete road map for each town, a land ownership map for each town, a land owners index, a county road map, lake maps with lake surface area, maximum depth and fish species, 4-H clubs map and a school districts map, city maps, village maps, a government directory and a business directory.

The St. Croix County Plat Book, sponsored by the St. Croix County 4-H Leaders’ Association, is available at the St. Croix County Treasurer’s Office at the Government Center in Hudson, the UW-Extension Office in Baldwin, B&J Hardware in Somerset, Gregerson Ace Hardware in Baldwin, Super America in New Richmond, Farm and Home in New Richmond, the State Bank in River Falls and Hiawatha Bank in Glenwood City.

The St. Croix County Plat Book is $30 with tax included.

One hundred percent of the proceeds raised from the sale of the Plat Book are used to provide educational programs and opportunities for the 716 members and 270 adult volunteers enrolled in the St. Croix County 4-H Program.
