ADVISORY: Strong fall winds are approaching
St. Croix County and the surrounding area is under a wind advisory in effect from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7.

According to the National Weather Service, the strongest winds will be during the afternoon and evening Friday. Estimates call for south to southwest winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 50 mph.
The weather service warns that loose objects could be blown around and small or weak branches could come down in the wind. Light and high profile vehicles could be impacted on roadways.
Use extra caution.
