Physical therapist hired at Dadez office
Dadez Physical Therapy, Inc. has added a new full-time physical therapist to their staff, Michael Wangsness.
Dadez Physical Therapy, Inc. has added a new full-time physical therapist to their staff, Michael Wangsness, PT, DPT, ATC.
Wangsness graduated with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., where he was also a collegiate golfer. He holds certification in athletic training.
Wangsness graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Minnesota in 2010. While attending the U of M, he worked for the Institute for Athletic Medicine in Minneapolis working with local high schools and assisting at various sporting events as an athletic trainer.
Prior to joining Dadez Physical Therapy, Wangsness lived and worked outside of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, employed in outpatient physical therapy. He now resides in Stillwater, Minn. and enjoys golfing, hockey and spending time with family and friends.
Wangsness has received training in Strain/CounterStrain and Muscle Energy Techniques. He utilizes therapeutic exercise to allow patients control of their symptoms and uses manual therapy techniques, in conjunction, to promote a healing process.
Michael is available Tuesday through Friday for physical therapy appointments.
