A former Milwaukee Catholic grade school principal has been sued by a man she was convicted of molesting.

Gerald Kobs, 56, said he still has nightmares and headaches from the abuse he took from Sr. Norma Giannini in the 1960s at St. Patrick’s School. He’s also suing her former religious order, the Sisters of Mercy.

Kobs said the church knew that Giannini abused a boy at a school in Chicago before sending her to Milwaukee.

Giannini was in therapy for two years before her transfer.

Last year, she was convicted of two felony charges of indecent behavior with a child.

She was released last month after serving her sentence at the Milwaukee County House of Correction.
